The 2018 Nissan LEAF took home the prestigious World Green Car of the Year award yesterday at the New York International Auto Show. This is the first time in the award’s history that an all-electric car has won it all.

The Green Car of the Year award is handed out by a panel of 82 journalists from 24 countries around the world. As for the 2018 Nissan LEAF, it features a host of improvements including 241 kilometers of range, a new E-Pedal one-pedal driving system, and it is also the first car in the Nissan lineup to feature ProPilot Assist, an impressive driver assistance package.
